Why is the glass-lined reactor deformed during use?

Improper operation of the glass-lined reactor during use may lead to many kinds of failures, one of which is the deformation of the equipment during use.

1. When the plates in the glass-lined reactor are welded, the welds are generally concentrated and long, which will cause a variety of welding stresses during welding. The equipment itself will be deformed to a certain extent after welding, so that there will be bending deformation or even twisting deformation, angular deformation and wave deformation in addition to shrinkage deformation. Among them, the more serious deformation is the wave deformation caused by the shrinkage of the welding seam. Generally, such a deformation part will be in the middle of each sheet and show a corresponding wave shape.

2. The bottom plate of the glass-lined reactor is generally composed of an edge plate and a middle plate. The edge plate is generally a ring structure with an outer circle and an inner polygon formed by combining multiple plates. The middle plate is composed of multiple plates. It is a polygonal flat-plate structure made up of panels, both of which are welded together by tortoise shell seams to form the floor of the entire device. The floor and the edge of the equipment generally need to be linked by large fillet welds, which also plays an auxiliary role in the entire equipment of the glass-lined reactor.
