Driving device included motor and reducer which is the power equipment for the agitator of the agitating reactor or mixing tank.

The factors should to be considered in the selection of driving devicet include the medium viscosity in the reactor or mixing tank, agitator type, agitating/mixing speed, local voltage and frequency, explosion proof and protection class according with field application, and etc.

Generally, flameproof motor with coaxial cycloidal pinwheel reducer is special for low viscosity working medium or small-middle scale agitating equipment; flameproof motor with helical gear reducer is special for high viscosity working medium or middle-large scale agitating equipment; belt drive horizontal flameproof motor with spiral cone gear reducer is special for high viscosity working medium or high energy consumption large scale agitating equipment.
